- Life can be scary if you're chronically ill, but it can also be fun and amazing! Even though there are thousands of chronically ill patients in the United States, 'traditional medicine' is still figuring out how to treat chronic illness. It's difficult for chronically ill patients to find the time and energy to seek out all the bits of information I've learned from various books, doctors, and websites over the past four years. I created this blog to give people with chronic illnesses simple and easy access to valuable information and advice. I also have my B.S. in Psychology. That being said, I'm far from perfect so I welcome your advice and ideas as well! I try not to let my illness define me, but I am passionate about helping others survive. I love music, books, movies, and the beach! I also enjoy dancing and throwing fun parties! As I learn to manage my illness, I hope to return to doing some of my favorite things which are: water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, and playing volleyball, basketball, and tennis. And of course, I can't wait to travel again!
